Despite all the unfavorable reviews lately, lunch was great. Our server, Andy was helpful and accommodating to our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. He put the kids orders in first, which was a good idea after a long hike. The food was delicious. The steak salad has a homemade strawberry dressing. The air conditioning and views were great after our hike here from the visitor center.

Definitely recommend! If I lived closer, I would come here often. The pulled pork sandwich was so so good, the bun was toasted to perfection, and the barbecue sauce was great. The fries were good! I wish it came with more fries, that is the only very minor negative. My mom and aunt shared the apple butter chicken entree with an additional side of cornbread. They loved it, the asparagus, and the mash potatoes. Our server Amanda was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. Atmosphere 4stars just because it was cold in the restaurant, but it wasn't a big deal.

So, I was on here looking at the reviews other had left. I was torn about whether to try it or not, but ultimately, my wife and I did stop in for dinner. What a delightful experience we had!?!? The meals we ordered were delicious! Our server, Colleen, was wonderful, attentive and polite. There were no disappearances or long delays. The food was prepared to our liking and was done in a timely manner. We have no complaints at all. It was a great place to eat!

My wife and I came here during our little vacation and loved it. They have a wonderful view and lots of easy parking. The blackened shrimp ravioli was dope and their wine selection had local wineries on it, which was nice. Make sure to get a reservation. They have a nice bar that we went to while we waited, then asked for a table on the porch, it was a great day.

We were on a weekend trip for our anniversary and my boyfriends birthday party and I was looking up restaurants in the area and this one caught my eye. I made us a dinner reservation and we came in this past weekend to try it. We got to eat outside in the balcony and we loved it. We were greeted by very kind and friendly staff. We liked our server Mel a lot she was nice and it was her birthday. I tried the hikers juice cocktail and it was delicious. We shared the white cheddar cheese curds as our appetizer and they weee so delicious. For our entrees we had the steak and the shrimp and grits and neither one of us were pleased at all with our entrees it was so disappointing because we were really looking forward to the meal and it just had no flavor. We hope to try this place again and hope it’s better next time.

The Rock House Restaurant is wonderful. This was my wife and my first time here. We had a 7:15 reservation, arrived at 7:00 and got seated immediately. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Noah, was very helpful in recommending entrees. The food tasted great, and the portions were very generous. All worth the price. We will certainly eat here again when visiting the Hocking Hills.

My boyfriend and I came in to eat and our server Noah greeted us with a smile and friendly attitude. He recommended the blackened shrimp ravioli and it was delicious. The hocking sunrise cocktail was very good as well. Overall a good experience for our dinner service.

This restaurant inside the Hocking Hills Lodge is amazing. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, the staff is so nice and kind. Everyone who works here is highly skilled and kind. The front desk, the housekeepers and the restaurant staff. The food is delicious. 10 out of 5 stars. I must give a shout out specifically to Robin and Daylin and Eric. I have been here 7 times and each time is better than the last.
